Sera-t-il toujours piloté par l’Asie, centré sur l’océan Indien ou chaotique ?

Dans le dernier article consacré à l’Inde, la question de son positionnement comme futur centre géostratégique du monde au-delà 2050 a été posée.

Dans ce nouveau papier de réflexion je vous invite à aller un peu plus loin, à sortir de votre géocentrisme et de vos certitudes stratégiques, et d’ essayer d’imaginer ce que pourrait devenir les rapports de force internationaux dans 25 ans, en repartant de ce postulat émis dans le numéro 282 de la Revue Marine sur l’océan Indien.

2050, c’est à la fois très loin pour ceux qui vivent dans l’immédiateté sous la pression des réseaux sociaux mais très près pour ceux qui scruptent les signaux faibles du temps long. C’est le paradoxe de l’Histoire, rien n’est écrit à l’avance et il est en effet présomptueux de vouloir prédire le futur, mais il n’est pas interdit d’y réfléchir et de s’y préparer…

Pour alimenter cette démarche en termes de prospective je me suis appuyé sur la pratique des scénarios. Cette méthode permet d’entrevoir de multiples combinaisons de jeux d’acteurs et de se libérer des grilles de lectures souvent trop académiques ou institutionnelles qui brident la réflexion stratégique. L’objectif est d’ouvrir le questionnement et d’accepter d’entrevoir le monde tel qu’il est et pas seulement tel que nous souhaiterions qu’il soit… C’est un exercice à la fois d’agilité intellectuelle et de lucidité stratégique auquel je me suis toujours astreint et que je vous mets en partage.
